The photo was taken on 07/14/21 @ the corner of West 16th Street and Union Square West.
The thought of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese left me with mixed emotions as a kid. I hated the powdered cheese from the classic blue box.
I preferred the Mac and Cheese shells from Kraft and Velveeta.
Lucien, my best friend, and I spotted the Van Leeuwen truck on 16th Street. I was eerily surprised by the line for people trying the ice cream. I did not have the testicular fortitude to try it, and no, I'm not a male in any sense of the word.
We walked away from the corner with a sense that people will try anything. Although it is my personal motto, I refuse to try it under any circumstance.
