Sunrise Mart (SoHo Location)

Welcome to the first post of the Eccentric Mind Off-Shot blog, my name is Lady Sakura, and I would like to take the time to reintroduce myself and what I do.
I am not a chef, but I am a home cook.
I do not know how to bake, but I sure can make some mean chicken bacon ranch sandwiches and veal chops!

I consider myself to be a foodie who loves unique foods, and I am willing to try anything once.

Sunrise Mart is located at 494 Broome Street in SoHo. SoHo is short for South of Houston Street. The Sunrise Mart is one of two in Manhattan and one location in Industry City, Brooklyn.

I had the opportunity to visit this location last Friday, July 16th, 2021 and it is a lot smaller than the Brooklyn location. 

The cashiers are positioned to the front of the store while the cold drinks are positioned to the immediate left side. Hot foods were once served behind the cashier stations, I could see the stand where they would cook the food. This was closed.

There is an upstairs for patrons to eat, but I did not go upstairs to find out.

The frozen food and the other goods are situated to the right and rear of the store respectively.

I did not take photos of the inside as I had no knowledge of their policies on photos.

I found this location to be quaint, homely, and the prices to be expected from Manhattan.

My recommendation is to check it out if you are in SoHo.
